Born in Matanzas, Cuba, Jorge began his musical journey at age 8 at the Conservatory of Matanzas, graduating from Cuba's prestigious National Conservatory at just 19. His classical foundation took him to the Opera House in Graz, Austria before relocating to the United States, where he earned his degree from Florida International University in 2009.
In 2010, he launched into a global tour with international superstar Pitbull. The following year, Jorge co-wrote the worldwide smash "Don't Stop the Party". In 2015, he earned a Grammy Award as producer on Pitbull's Latin Album of the Year "DALE".
His film scoring work includes the original score and soundtrack for "Gotti" (2018), starring John Travolta. His pen is also behind Latin-pop anthems including "Ay Mi Dios", "El Taxi", and "Te Quiero Baby" — hits that have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.
